Get ready to enjoy a winter whirlwind of fun because the Youth Resiliency Institute (YRI) Pop-Up Ice-Skating Rink is back! This extravaganza is loaded with even more excitement this time around, thanks to our fantastic partners, South Baltimore Gateway Partnership and Baltimore City's Department of Recreation & Parks It's a winter wonderland you won’t want to miss!

In addition to free ice skating, this year's event will highlight a special ice-skating showcase featuring U.S. Ice-Skating Championship Medalist Ting Cui, alongside 2X U.S. National Medalist and Team USA competitor Emmanuel Savory! In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to partake in an array of activities, including free pony rides, live music, art activities, and engaging children's programs. A historical reenactor will also portray Maryland-native Matthew Henson, the first African American to reach the North Pole on April 6, 1906. But wait, there's more! Tempt your taste buds with hot chocolate and a delightful array of food vendor goodies! Fun, inspiration, and unforgettable moments await!

Free parking for the event will be available at MedStar Harbor Hospital Parking Lot 1 (Purple Lot) located at 2825 S. Hanover Street, Baltimore, MD, 21225. A free, event parking shuttle will transport attendees to and from Middle Branch Park and free parking lot for the duration of the event. *There will be no public parking available at Middle Branch Park parking lot during the event.*

This event features a synthetic ice rink, not frozen ice.

Reimagine Middle Branch, a community-driven initiative, is led by the City of Baltimore, South Baltimore Gateway Partnership, and Parks & People, working alongside a team of expert consultants, stakeholders, and Baltimoreans.
