On June 27, 2023, the Westport Waterfront Park project team, in partnership with the Westport Community Economic Development Corporation, hosted an ice cream social and community input session at Westport Academy.
At this family-friendly event, project team members, in partnership with the Westport CEDC, met with community members to discuss plans for a waterfront park in Westport. Attendees shared valuable input on design choices and community-enhancing park features, all while enjoying free ice cream from Taharka Brothers!
Community feedback is essential to the design process and we were excited to hear from everyone who attended. Thank you for your feedback; we appreciate your thoughtful comments! There will be additional opportunities in the future to provide input on preliminary design plans.
