MBRI Project Updates & Upcoming Construction: Community Info Session

Community Info Session - MBRI Project Updates & Upcoming Construction

Register below to join us in person or virtually for a community information session on Monday, July 29 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, where we’ll share important updates on the Middle Branch Resiliency Initiative (MBRI). MBRI is the shoreline restoration arm of Reimagine Middle Branch, committed to reducing flood risk, improving water quality, restoring wetland habitat, and re-connecting communities to waterfront greenspace in South Baltimore.

As we prepare to break ground on the MedStar Harbor Hospital Wetlands in Cherry Hill this August, we want to ensure the community remains informed and engaged. At this session, South Baltimore Gateway Partnership and MBRI Implementation Partner GreenVest will share:

  • What to expect during construction, and how it may impact you

  • What benefits to expect from the MedStar Harbor Hospital Wetlands and other MBRI projects

  • Progress updates and new photos from two MBRI projects under construction in Brooklyn, which are set to be completed this fall

Join us virtually (on Zoom) or in-person at the Middle Branch Fitness & Wellness Center (201 Reedbird Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21225). Parking on site.

Reimagine Middle Branch, a community-driven initiative, is led by the City of Baltimore, South Baltimore Gateway Partnership, and Parks & People, working alongside a team of expert consultants, stakeholders, and Baltimoreans.
