Westport & Smith Cove Waterfront Parks Community Boat Tour and Construction Celebration

Enjoy an exciting boat tour experience celebrating the design completion and construction of the Westport & Smith Cove Waterfront Parks!

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Westport residents, neighbors and project partners are invited to experience the future of the waterfront from a unique perspective—on the water.

The boat will depart promptly at 1:00pm aboard the Baltimore Water Taxi from Port Covington Marina.

Guests are invited to join us at the pavilion beginning at 11:30am for an opportunity to connect with project team members prior to departure. We encourage early arrival to allow time for check-in and ensure timely boarding. Please see additional details below to prepare for the boat trip.

During this guided tour along the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River, project partners will share the final waterfront park design and what’s ahead during the construction phase. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the future waterfront park site from the water while learning how this project connects to the broader Reimagine Middle Branch vision.

This is a special milestone for Westport and surrounding communities - – please join us for a firsthand view of the waterfront transformation! Come celebrate the construction, revel in the successes of the collaborative design process, and hear directly from the project team and partners.

Seating capacity is limited, and registration is required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
